I have become a big fan of your blogs after reading your direct attack on the media...and exposing their lies...
I strongly and strongly believe that we need to control the media....

First of all, I appreciate your courage for speaking your mind on big media. I have noticed that politicians rarely speak against media people in public, which to me suggests that they are striking deals with them behind the scenes. Speaking out openly and publicly indicates transparency.
That your party and government are at the receiving end of a very orchestrated campaign by some in the media is quite evident. (I say this as a citizen who is not happy with the governance you have delivered so far. I have high expectations from a BJP government). It is not surprising that leading the pack is a newspaper whose publisher was summoned to court three or four years ago for the paper's contemptible exploitation and playing up of a Delhi school porn MMS scandal.
As a rule -- and I mean no office to you -- politicians are detested. And the media is also being equally detested.
The Ombudsman idea is not a day late. However, you must institute a tradition that will be long-lasting, will enjoy credibility, cannot be exploited by a less scrupulous government, and cannot be watered down by politician-journalist nexus. I suggest not to make the ombudsman's rulings be binding on the media -- that way these corrupt "journalists" will have no excuse to scream their lungs off that "freedom of expression" is under attack -- their standard excuse to feather their nests at the expense of the citizen. The ombudsman should exercise moral authority -- though it is unlikely to shame Times of India and DNA types - but should have no retributive legal powers. Men/women of exceptional credibility and integrity should be appointed as ombudsmen. Thank you.

Media is always pro congress, whatever happenings in the BJP rules states they will highlight beyond the required. see what's happening in Tamil nadu, where is REnuka choudhary, no comments, we could have appreciated her if she commented High court lawyers are Talibanising the High court of Tamil nadu.

I have this thought for quite some time, and putting it here.
Is there a way we can remove prefixes like "honourable" etc?
If I remember right, constitution doesnt allow titles like "his highness" etc. So, prefixes(not sure if they are titles) like "honourable" should be dropped, as they represent colonial legacy rather than true respect. True respect should come from the personality of the person, and a position he/she occupies and not just by adding prefixes.
Just my opinion though...
regarding my previous comment about titles, is there is a way the government can pass this bill or propose this as a rule to be followed in a country?
Just wondering about the feasibility because many undeserving people use that, and in the process is being misused.
Courts have dropped "my lord" in their usage.
We should drop colonial legacy just because they are there.
