A private school bus today plunged into the river Phalguni near Ulai bettu near Mangalore killing at least eleven including 9 school children. The Children were going from the city to the Bhamy public school in Kaikamba. 19 people have been saved.
In a horrific incident the bus carrying atleast 32 people including 28 children ploughed into the ravine and fell into the river in the morning. The driver and other crew of the bus have also died in the accident. Relief operations are being carried out by the fire service men and aided by locals. Dr Acharya visited the relatives of the victims.
