Tackling Terror:

Police made to guard prayer halls, while terrorists plan a big attack?
Terrorism presents a challenge to law enforcement since it requires police/agencies to act proactively against crimes (terrorist acts) that in many cases have not yet been committed. (with the risk of facing charges by Human rights activists, in the usual lines of "arrest of the innocent" "encounter" "diversionary tactics" etc.,)
If the police wait, as they do traditionally, to react to terrorist crimes after they are committed, then the role of the police is that of a first responder, and an investigator. (again the Police/ forces would be in the receiving end for "intelligence failure" "tactical incoordination" "lack of competence to save lives" "inaction" etc.,)
The public, however, expects police to deal with terrorism differently. This is mainly because crimes such as rape, theft, robbery and even murder target the individual while terrorism targets the public. As such, the public demands that the police act to prevent terrorism before it becomes a criminal reality.
So, the message is: please let the investigating agencies do their job, too much curiosity on the part of media, hampers the investigations/ outcome.

Mr.HM,

1. We have to publicize those blasphemous venom-spewing books, or even its contents. If not the Sickular English Media, atleast the Vernacular Regional media will take it to people.

2. Arrest the top shots of New life and the people behind those books.

3. Why shouldn't the STATE Govt give a strong rebuttal to Italy on the lines of once Jayalalitha condemned the pope for poking into our internal affairs.

It looks some planned attack is taking place. The political parties act like spoilt brats. The minorities use all the loopholes. The police on duty gets hurt due to stones or gets killed as in the case of Sharma. Attacking the police on duty or diobeying the laws should be considered criminal. Too much of an energy of the govt is lost in controling the unproductive and destructive activities.

Thank you for your support to the Karnataka Police.
I think for the first time in the history of Karnataka, we see a Home Minister with enough backbone to stand up for the law and law enforcing agencies.

The Govt can highlight that half baked truths, biased perspectives, intentionally not looking at the whole picture is not in anybodies interest , except for rogues hiding under religion or politics.

Truly secular ideas, one country-one law should be aggressively propogated.

For now the soul-harvestors have realised what the Jihadis learnt some time ago, that the wheels that creak the loudest gets the grease.

And the world should be made to know in non-apologetic language.
Hinduism will not be the sheep to the soul-harvestor wolves.

There is a good interview in Indian Express with a cop injured during delhi shootout (in which Sharma died)

This constable is still in hospital while those arrested are enjoying biryani in jails. Likes of Amar Singh go and do dharna at encounter site while no one cares for police in hospital. Sad time we are living in.

"Those who doubt Jamia shootout won’t believe it even if 10 of us die, says injured constable Balwant"

Sir,

The anguish you have shown in the very sad affairs, the circus that the fight against terrorism has become, is highly understandable.
There are two communities that are systematically kept backward- dalits and muslims. The problem is that there are so many messaihs who will lose all there powers once these communities are empowered.
The more backward they are the more angry they will be and so will be their commitment to their messaih. The more seized mentality they have the more strong will be the captive vote bank.
During the last election year one UPA component in Bihar kept a Osama Bin Laden look alike in every public meeting. One supporter party had been raising doubts about the Jamia Milia Encounter.
Conspiracy theory along seized mentality groups. If we remember When the WTC was destroyed many termed it as a zionist conspiracy.
We hardly see any effort on providing any kind of education in any Muslim or for that matter dalit ghetto. There are more madarsas than secular school in any Muslim locality. The deeny talim people once completing their education becomes unemplyable in real world.
A small minority who takes secular education finds himself a minority in his own community and has to prove his credentials thus becoming more radical.
Any effort to change this is opposed by the very same messaihs. Who wants to lose the captive votebank.
Have we ever heard any politician clamouring for better Primary education for Muslims. Unless they have better primary education they wont participate in any furthur growth prospect.

But People who pander to this short term gain forgets about what are they supporting. Fundamentalist Agenda is simple. They want a world as per their distorted belief. And that i imposible in present scenario.

This is happening in all the religions.Today some hindu outfit wants to dictate what should we celebrate and what we should not. What movies we should see and what we should not. Unfortunately there is no place for such mullahs in Hindu society.Hindus are not accustomed to fatwas.
So when they take some right cause then too then they do not get the support from a large majority of hindus.
Similarly in Western Countries,Established Christian Churches are themelves fighting aginst they very same evangelical churches they are protecting in India as they are converting their own flock.
All the fundoos talk abou a puritan world no one has ever seen and history does not make it look better then the world we are in. But then reason, logic and faith are not exactly the same.

But one thing is sure.. You can never convince a fundoo. They are brainwashed badly. The only way is to wage a proactive war and introspection. otherwise it is a end less cycle .
