Dear Dr Acharya Congrats for being elected to council un opposed. It would be good if u could kindly bring Police reform and restructuring of the present police department with more accountability
Some of the points u may consider
1)computerisation of Police stations with email id to inspectors, and allowing public to send greviences /complaints by email 2) formation of citizens committes in each police station- Public-private partnerships 3)appointment of lady constables in each police stations to receive FIR's and appointment of lady Traffic constables to HEAD Tiger vehicles in Bangalore
4) CONDUCTING adalats by SP'S and DCP'S to address public greviences
5)Introduction about traffic ,security to school children both in urban and rural areas 6)give awards to best police station in each city 7)night beat constables to be given handy guns and good quality shoes 8)Training Police staff with soft skills and Human relation ship
9)consider to have 2 more Dcps for south and north Bangalore Traffic divisions
