Being a kannadiga and studying in best university in United Kingdom, I would like to bring following bills or requirement of citizens here enjoy: 1. Pension for everyone from Government after 60 years of age. 2. Government paid mid-wives for pregnant ladies. 3. Susidized medicines(no medicine more than cost £6 as government payes it). 4.More importantly NHS, free treatment under government. 4. Unemployment/disability/education/hardship benefits. 5. MPs/members of house are closely monitored for expenses and information about expense avail RTI act. Please note what better use can we put to tax payers money than above reforms. We make reforms so ourselves and our childrens can ripe the benefit. US is reforming on Medical treatment, why not karnataka/India.
Mr Narayana You have made a good point. However, it opens up a debate at another level...Honest Tax Paying citizens v/s tax evaders...The system might improve, if the facilities are provided as per the extent of tax payment (German model of insurance/social security), while protecting the basic facilities for the poor and the un employed.
Dear Hon.Minister, Thanks for accepting my post. As the saying goes- "With greater leadership, comes the greater responsibility". Everyday ministers have to ask themselves what difference they made to the people who elected them.Did they make any difference from previous ministers to help the poor and helpless people. For example, People remember SM Krishna for his wonderful work on Akshara Dasoha and IT jobs. People will certainly remember current ministers for their works and development project unless they perform honestly. Every leader is answerable to people who has elected them.
