Development & Power Projects: Need of the Hour

Foundation stone for Gundia Hydro Power Project
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Yeddyurappa stated that the project will be built at a cost of Rs. 1119 crores and in the first phase Rs. 959 crores will be spent. It will produce a total of 400 MW using hydro power. He said the water augmented by a series of check dams across the tributaries of Gundia river at Yettina Holay, Kere Holay and Hongadi Halla and through a channel it will be sent to the underground generating station. It will be one of the large hydro power project in the state after Kali, Varahi and Sharavathi. (more when you click on the image)

As you know, I'm a staunch supporter of BJP because of its developmental agenda.

We have elected you so that you can overcome hurdles from these anti-development groups and deliver development to us.

The common public is facing power shortages. Yes, there are many adverse conditions that are causing it But, we want you to assure us 24-hour supply.

Gujarat still gets good power supply. I hope to see Karnataka that way in power situation.
